ABOUT ME
I am a strength coach with over 3 years of experience in physical health, currently working as a strength and conditioning coach for the US Army. I hold a Master’s degree in Exercise Science from Merrimack College, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Fitchburg State University. I hold a CSCS certification from the NSCA (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist).
I began in the field by becoming certified in 2021, and subsequently attaining a personal training job out of a small studio in Cambridge, MA. I wanted to help others with the knowledge I had of training. I still felt like my knowledge was limited, so from there, I decided to go to graduate school to continue learning and progress my career. I got into graduate school at Merrimack College and did a fellowship with Northeastern University while I was completing my degree. From there, I was exposed to principles akin to those of the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI), and began learning from strength coaches who had learned under Bill Hartman. This was a unique experience; it truly helped me embrace new perspectives of the human body all while understanding the current limitations of traditional exercise science. This has set me on a permanent path of growth and continuous learning.
Now I have taken all of that experience and my current knowledge and have decided to provide training services online. The combination of all the knowledge and experience I have had in the field so far have proven valuable in understanding how the human body might work and what we can do to help people with any ailments they might face, or improve their performance and how they interact with the world around them. My goal is to utilize a different wellness approach with my clients to deliver more impactful results.
